Overview

Students wishing to pursue a degree in Plant Biology at the University of Kentucky will need to apply to and enroll in the Integrated Plant and Soil Sciences Graduate program.  

 

Admission Requirements

We welcome applications from students with majors in biology, chemistry, or agriculture and related areas. An adequate preparation for graduate study in Plant Biology includes courses in general biology, general chemistry, organic chemistry, genetics, and calculus. In addition, courses in biochemistry and physical chemistry are recommended.  Please refer to The Graduate School website for the most current admissions guidelines.

Applications may be submitted at any time, but early application is recommended. Applications must be submitted online at this link . In addition, applicants should send three letters of recommendation, a personal statement of interests and goals, and a CV to the Director of Graduate Studies for the IPSS Graduate program:
